Going the Distance is a handbook to help NGOs plan, identify and mobilize to win donor support and align their organization's strengths with community needs and available funding opportunities.
Going the Distance is organized as an easy-to-follow series of modules, with associated activities and handouts, for conducting workshops on ways to boost organizational sustainability. It is divided into three parts:
- Defining a Sustainable Organization,
- Mapping and Mobilizing Resources, and
- Connecting with Donors.
Funding for Going the Distance was provided by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Its contents do not necessarily reflect the views of USAID or the U.S. Government.
